A Rocky Start

It was 50 degrees and raining, so with that being said there was no way we were going to plant our garden today. Instead we got in the car and scouted the area for rocks that we could accent our garden with. With no such luck at a few places we thought of, we ended up driving all the way over to Seal Island bridge and picking up some rocks there. After driving home and unloading the car, we quickly noticed that we needed more. However we decided that today we would go and pick out the flowers and bushes we wanted. We found a nice variety from different nurseries, including poppies in memory of Tyler's Poppy. Hopefully tomorrow will be a tad bit warmer so we can plant them and arrange the rocks accordingly.

A very special birthday wish goes out to our beautiful niece, Abigail, who turned 3 years old today! We hope our little princess has a fun day! Lots of love from Auntie Heather, Uncle Steve, cousin Tyler, and Honorary Grandma Walker.

Also a big hello goes out to my Dad's first cousin, Norma, from the U.K.! Thanks so much for reading our blog. We are glad that you enjoy it :) Hugs to you from across the "Big Pond".
