RRROAR With Me

As you can see, this little lion had fun today at the Read With Me program. The children did two Eric Carle books. The first one being 'Does A Kangaroo Have A Mother, Too?' and the other one '1, 2, 3 to the Zoo' was acted out by the students using animals and a train. Tyler had the part of the elephant and the mouse which was the first page of the book. The kids sang the Zoo Train song along with it too. The book they have to do their review on is 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' which Tyler is already very familiar with. We've been reading that story since he was about a year old as it was a gift from Christine. It is also an Eric Carle book. If you recall from last week, our take home book was also a Carle book. Can you guess that our teacher's favourite children's author is Eric Carle? LOL We are wishing one of Tyler's very favourite buddies, Andrew, a terrific 3rd birthday today!!! Also, birthday greetings are being sent to my father's cousin, Diane, today!!! Happy Birthday to two wonderful people. :)
