Beach & Playground Fun

This morning as we were packing the van up for today's adventure, we noticed our neighbours, the Baillie's were outside with Andrew and his mom, Mara. We went down to say hello and see adorable Andrew. While there, we mentioned that we were on our way to North Sydney to take Tyler to a park. Mr. Baillie suggested we take him to Indian Beach since we were going to be in the area.

I forgot about this beach. Rhonda and I used to go there every summer when we were growing up. The beach has changed a lot since then. The playground is much better and there is an ice cream stand now. On the way to the playground, we took Tyler to the beach and he wanted to play his new game that Grammy taught him yesterday called "Throw rocks in the water and make a big splash!". He likes this game so much that he really did not want to leave and even picked up another rock in the parking lot and started to go back to the water to throw it in.

Once we persuaded Tyler to at least try the playground, he forgot about the rocks and we had some fun. Tyler and I went on the Jeep for a ride, the slide, and Mom and Tyler even went on an alligator!

We also took Tyler for a little swing and Mom had fun trying to catch his feet everytime he would swing up to her. He laughed so much at that! After our fun at the playground was over and we were heading back to the car, Tyler started picking up rocks again and wanted to head back over to the water. He really loves that game! Grammy, what have you started?! LOL
