Steve's Ship

This will be "home" during the next 6 months for Steve while on deployment. USS Boone is a frigate named after Vice Admiral Joel Thompson Boone, M.D., who received a Medal of Honor for his work during WWI. The ship's main mission is to fight Somali piracy. So far, Steve is settling in alright. His ship is due to leave its' port in Mayport, Florida in the next couple of weeks. This week he has been busy with check-in and obtaining some required training. We'll try to update you on his well-being, work assignments, and adventures during his deployment.
