Family Fun Day

Today we decided to check out the Virginia Beach Farmer's Market Family Fun Day. Tyler and I have never been to the farmer's market before, so it was a double treat for us to experience both. The Fun Day event provided lots of games, inflatables, pony rides, food, and information booths. Each child won a prize of their choice after playing five different games. For each game the children played they would get it checked off on the card they were given to redeem their prize. Tyler picked out this snazzy pig visor. LOL
When he finished playing the games, he bounced on the inflatables for awhile. Mom, Tyler and I each won prizes by  spinning a wheel and answering trivia questions at the WIC booth. Then it started to rain, so we took shelter over at the farmer's market. There were several vendors with everything from fresh produce to crafts to homemade ice cream. Mom purchased some bottles of homemade jam and some seashells. Then we enjoyed some yummy homemade ice cream at the creamery. By this time, the rain had stopped and so we went back to the inflatables until it started to rain again. LOL Afterwards we decided to go to Trader Joe's. Overall, it was a pretty good day.
