Reconnecting

This morning we met up with one of Steve's former co-workers that he was stationed with in England 16 years ago. Steve and Jess worked together for two years and shared a lot of crazy times. Since then they reconnected through Face Book and I became friends with Jess after she sent me a friend request. We got to know each other very well through posts and photos over the years and we always said we would love to meet up one day. Well, Jess and her two daughters drove up from North Carolina to see her sister who was in town. Of course, this gave us an opportunity to finally get together. So today we spent the day laughing, catching up, hearing lots of fun stories about Steve, and eating breakfast and lunch together. Jess is truly an amazing person and we really enjoyed our time with her. Her daughters are also incredibly well mannered and Tyler had a great time with them. We are planning to get together again before our move to Bahrain.
