On the Job

Steve found out more about what his responsibilities will include while deployed in Iraq. He will be doing media brief and press conferences. He'll get to deal with all the senior leaders and their assistants. Apparently, Condoleeza Rice was there last week. Steve will have to tape all the briefings and make sure the quality is good enough for Reuters, CNN and the BBC to take and air. The hours are going to be long and very stressful. Today he has to attend a Ramadan dinner with VIPs who are speaking. He also said the work environment is quite interesting, working out of trailers and tents.
