Gone Fishing

Uncle Joey had the day off and asked us if we wanted to join him and Aunt Kristin on a little fishing trip. Of course, Tyler was super excited about the idea and said he wanted to catch a whale. LOL The weather wasn't the best; it was a little misty and overcast, but we had some rain gear including a cute pair of a shark rain boots that Nanny bought Tyler. Once on the road, the weather seemed to have cleared up a bit. The rain stopped by the time we found a river in Margaree to fish. For the first little while, we watched Uncle Joey try and catch some fish. Tyler got all excited and said that he caught a fish. Turned out Tyler found someone's bait that someone left on the shore. LOL Then Uncle Joey let Tyler have a turn fishing. The mosquitoes were quite nasty, so we didn't stay too long. We got back in the truck and Uncle Joey and Aunt Kristin took us for a drive to Cheticamp and back. I managed to get a few pretty scenic photos along the way. We stopped at Tim Horton's for a little snack. We came home and we all ate at Mom's. Overall, it was a great day spent with family. Here are some more photos from our adventure.
