Tonight we went for a drive and came upon this cool tobacco field that is in the process of being harvested.
As you can see below, some of the tobacco is in the process of drying out in the barn. Tobacco farming in our county dates back to 1634 where it was the dominant cash crop. Of course, things have changed since then.
