New Old Toys

Our neighbour down the street approached us today and asked whether Tyler would be interested in some toys that her grandchildren used to play with. Of course, we said that Tyler would be delighted to take over ownership. So together her and I loaded both of our cars and brought over to Nanny's house, a picnic table, keyboard, and easel. Tyler was so excited when he saw us unload the car! It was very nice of her to think of Tyler! Then another friend of mine came over for a visit and brought some trucks for Tyler to play with that her son use to have. We are totally appreciative of everyone's kindness!!! Steve Update: I was ever so glad to hear from Steve today, especially since we couldn't talk yesterday. He said his co-worker still has his cell phone and that he hopes he'll return it back to him tomorrow. However today his roomie was nice enough to lend Steve his phone so that he could phone me. Today Steve said that they had two surprise press conferences that he had to do. Everything went well and he hopes to soon completely take over his responsibilities. Right now, the guy he is replacing is still on the job, however he leaves in October.
