Archaeological Discovery

What started out as a backyard clean up for Ute and Anthony, had soon turned into a great find! As I was removing a brick from the ground, I noticed another brick buried beside it, and then another one, and so on until Steve decided to do a major dig and recovered what appears to be a footer of a structure. As we investigated further it was determined that it was actually the middle and the structure was much larger than we originally thought. Steve took the shovel and went along the ground to find a corner.

We had already found one of the footers previous to this when we first started cleaning up the shrubery and trees, as it was just laying on the ground. We did not however, realise it was a footer until last night's discovery. We are now wondering what use to be here, what happened to the building, and if there are any "treasures" bury amongst it. We have already posted a note on our community forumn to see if any of the locals have any info to share with us. I will let you know if we find anything out.
