A Visit with Anna, Janice, & Millie

Janice e-mailed me a couple of days ago and invited my mom, Tyler and I to come over for coffee and meet her sweet 8 month old granddaughter Anna. Of course, we were delighted at the offer and this morning we went over to her son's house where she looks after Anna. Both mom and I couldn't get over how adorable Anna is. She is so tiny compared to Tyler. We also got to meet their dog, Millie. Tyler just loved Millie. He would laugh every time she would give him kisses.

It didn't take long for Tyler and Anna to get acquainted with each other. Once on the floor together, Tyler got on his hands and knees and crawled right behind her. It was so cute! They had a great time with each other. Tyler loved to play with her toys while she was in the saucer.

Anna just loved Tyler. She often crawled right up as close as she could to him. A few times though, Tyler was kinda shy and backed away, but then the next thing we noticed he started to give her hugs and even some kisses. They were so quick and unexpected that I missed some great camera opportunities, however I managed to capture this cute pose.

The time passed by too quickly because of all the fun we had with the babies and just talking and catching up with each other that before we realised it was time for Tyler to go home and take a nap. All that running around Chris and Lisa's huge house, made Tyler very tired. We did get to see Chris for a brief moment. He had changed a lot since the last time I saw him which probably was in high school. Both Chris and his wife, Lisa, are doctors and Janice gave us a grand tour of their beautiful house before we left.

Thank you so much Janice and Anna for a lovely visit! It was great getting to see you again and spending time with you and your beautiful granddaughter. We ate the lasagna that you sent us home with as soon as we put Tyler down for his nap. It was delicious!
