This past weekend we went ice skating with some friends. After about 20 minutes of being there, they turned off the lights, turned up the music, and with some bright lights created a party-like atmosphere for the kids. It reminded me of our roller skating days growing up. I've never experienced this on ice before. LOL It was great fun for everyone! Tyler is shown here in this video wearing a black hoodie skating from one end of the rink to the other. The locals also were purchasing highlighters and drawing and writing their names on the ice. LOL

100th Day

To celebrate the 100th day of school, Tyler's teacher took her students photos using the old age application. This is what Tyler's looked like. The teacher also asked what they will do when they reach 100 years old. Tyler said "he will ride a roller coaster with a loop. He will read a whole dictionary. He will go to Alaska. He will buy a company. He will get a car. He will get a BB gun." LOL

School Field Trip

Last Thursday, third grade classes went on a field trip to a camel farm. The camel farm is owned by the royal family of Bahrain. This was Tyler's first visit to the camel farm. After seeing the camels, the students boarded back on to the buses and they went to the handicraft center where they got to see first hand the crafts and customs of Bahrain. Tyler picked up some souvenirs for himself, as well as for Mom and Dad. These photos were taken by another mom since I was not able to attend.
